Reputation Management & Social Media Process

Our Reputation Management strategy is an ongoing process designed to continuously improve the quantity and quality of online mentions about your company and brand.

Step 1: Discovery

We start the process by providing you with an in-depth questionnaire so we can understand how your company currently manages your reputation on and offline. Some of the things we want to know include:

  • What social media campaigns you use
  • How you handle online customer complaints
  • How you deal with media relations issues
  • What kinds of online communication you currently have with customers

Step 2: Initial Analysis

To create a benchmark, we monitor your online mentions for 30 days. Meanwhile, we take an extensive look at your website and your social media. We review old press releases. We talk with you about your current customer service strategies. At the end of 30 days, we use the initial report to create a benchmark of positive, neutral, and negative online mentions about your company.

Step 3: Recommendations

Based upon our analysis in Step 2 and our benchmark report, we make recommendations to you to improve your online reputation and social media efforts.

Step 4: Training

If needed, we will train your in-house staff to use social media effectively.

Step 5: Ongoing Efforts

Step 5 is all about getting it done.

Next steps could include building comprehensive social profiles, implementing a PR 2.0 strategy, launching a social media advertising campaign, or optimizing your website.

Step 6: Reporting

Our comprehensive monthly reports include statistics about the quantity and quality of online mentions, quotes that mention your company or brand, content crowding results, social media demographics, and press release results. We discuss what’s been done, what improvements we’ve seen, and what steps you and we need to take in the upcoming month to continue to reach our goals.
